Welcome to the IAPMRCON2025!
The 53rd Annual Conference of the Indian Association of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (IAPMR) will be hosted by the Department of Neurological Rehabilitation, NIMHANS, Bengaluru under the aegis of the Kaveri Association of Rehabilitation Medicine (Karnataka Chapter of IAPMR). The annual conference will bring to light both established and advanced rehabilitation management protocols in a variety of disorders. The pre-conference workshops conducted by experienced faculty are diverse. The scientific program will consist of lectures on a broad range of topics of interest to rehabilitation physicians, paper presentation and discussions which aim to enhance our understanding of rehabilitation and promote collaboration.

The 53 rd annual national conference of the Indian Association of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation- IAPMR will be organized in the NIMHANS convention centre, Bengaluru, Karnataka from 30 th January to 1 st February 2025 with pre-conference workshops on 29 th January. This will also be the 5 th annual conference of Kaveri Association of Rehabilitation Medicine-KARM, the Karnataka chapter of IAPMR. The theme of the conference is ‘Breaking barriers, building bridges; Rehabilitation for all”. There will be good number of workshops on the first day.

It is a matter of pride for the Dept. of Neurological Rehabilitation, NIMHANS Hospital, Bengaluru to host the 53rd Annual Conference of IAPMR under the aegis of the Kaveri Association of Rehabilitation Medicine (KARM), the Karnataka Chapter of IAPMR. This honour comes along with a great amount of responsibility, the organising committee of KARM will leave no stone unturned to make this an exciting scientific event fostering learning and advancing research in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation. It has been an honor for me to serve as the Founder Hon’ Secretary of Kaveri Association of Rehabilitation Medicine (KARM) – Karnataka Chapter of IAPMR and it has been a double delight to have donned the hat of the Joint Organizing Secretary for the 53 rd Annual Conference of the Indian Association of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (IAPMR).
