Dear Colleagues,
The 53 rd annual national conference of the Indian Association of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation- IAPMR will be organized in the NIMHANS convention centre, Bengaluru, Karnataka from 30 th January
to 1 st February 2025 with pre-conference workshops on 29 th January. This will also be the 5 th annual conference of Kaveri Association of Rehabilitation Medicine-KARM, the Karnataka chapter of IAPMR. The theme of the conference is ‘Breaking barriers, building bridges; Rehabilitation for all”. There will be good number of workshops on the first day and the main conference will include CME lectures free-papers and posters presentations. It will also include plenary sessions, orations and Special Interest Group meetings; a first-time introduced concept during our national conference.
The conference will have lectures on current PMR practices, recent advances in the field of especially neurological and musculoskeletal rehabilitation including interventions. We are expecting good number of international speakers as well as leading PMR clinicians from within the country participating in the conference and sharing their knowledge and research work with others. I invite you to participate in the conference in big numbers and enjoy the city of lakes, the IT capital of the country and the city with the most pleasant weather irrespective of seasons of the year. We will ensure great scientific program, and good academic & gastronomic feast for the faculty/delegates and PG Trainees participating in the conference.
