The workshop on Rehabilitation of Cognitive dysfunction will be held by Dr Jamuna R and team from NIMHANS, their expertise in assessment of cognitive function in patients with neurological illness and devising a tailored cognitive rehabilitation program is well known.

Dr Urvakhsh, faculty from NIMHANS has vast experience and expertise in use of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation for both clinical management and research. This workshop will give participants much needed exposure in this field.
Advances in neuro-rehabilitation are occurring at a staggering pace, the recent literature in the use of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation is a proof of these developments. The applications of rTMS are diverse in clinical practice and research.

They aim to demonstrate the best practice in multi-sensory stimulation. In addition, tracheostomy care will be discussed.
The ever growing incidence of traumatic/non-traumatic brain injuries is leading to an increasing number of people with disorders of consciousness. Multi-disciplinary approach to rehabilitation in severe brain injury is a vital step in facilitating further recovery along with acute medical care.
